As I said four rounds ago: this is not such a simple question as many question setters seem to think.
Like West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire hasn't really had a county town since 1986. However: the administrative headquarters of the ceremonial county are still in Barnsley, so this question is at least less ambiguous than the previous one.
